WE NURTURE THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOung CHILdren IN A HEALTHY AND CARING ENVIRONMENT.

Established in 1965, TCS offers preschool and pre-kindergarten programs in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle.

We are a Montessori-based, child-centered preschool in which EVERY individual is seen as capable. We learn, play, inspire, and engage all with a spirit of fun!

We live these values through these ACTIONS:

We respect – by listening to everyone, including everyone, and playing with everyone.

We support – by nurturing our children and their families, nurturing our staff and their families, and by providing a safe and fun learning and play space.

We contribute – by supporting Heifer International, hosting our Harvest Food Drive, being a “Recycle School," and caring for our space.

In this perpetually shifting and increasingly challenging world, TCS creates a community environment where everyone has tools and opportunities to succeed.

TCS has been, by far, the best preschool experience our family has had. My first two children did not attend TCS, and I wish they had. The teachers provide a structured, loving and educationally rich environment that nurtures the whole child. I have total confidence that my son will be fully prepared academically, socially and emotionally for kindergarten and beyond. The quality of education cannot be beat, and I wish all children had an opportunity to learn and thrive at a preschool like TCS.
