Founded in 1965, The Children’s School is a small, non-profit, play-based pre-school rooted in the belief that learning and growth begin with connection. We focus on building strong relationships—with ourselves, within our school, and with our broader community. Our program is child-centered and emphasizes social-emotional development.

We currently serve 25 students across three classrooms, with capacity to grow to 36 students. Our dedicated teaching staff includes six teachers, half of whom have been at the school for 5+ years.

Volunteering:

We always welcome new volunteers. If you are interested in contributing to TCS in anyway, reach out to board@tcsseattle.org or review our volunteers page.
